The Gap That Drove Us

التفاوت الذي دفعنا للعمل

I taught English at a private school in the Eastern Province where students started learning English in kindergarten. They were fluent, confident, and prepared for anything.

درّست الإنجليزي في مدرسة خاصة في المنطقة الشرقية حيث بدأ الطلاب تعلم الإنجليزي منذ رياض الأطفال. كانوا طلاقة وثقة ومستعدين لكل شيء.

Then I moved to a government college. For the first time, I was teaching students who needed the most support to build their foundation. Hard-working. Intelligent. But arriving without the English foundation they needed.

ثم انتقلت إلى كلية حكومية. لأول مرة كنت أدرّس طلاباً لم تُتَح لهم نفس الفرصة المبكرة في اللغة الإنجليزية. مجتهدون. أذكياء. لكنهم يصلون دون الأساس اللغوي الذي يحتاجونه.
